Like I said it’s a fairly good app. It could be a bit more responsive. Things I’d like to see Blink upgrade on the app… 1. Grouped cameras - one camera in the group is triggered and they all start recording, no matter what camera was triggered. 2. Play the next or previous video while in landscape mode and be able to trash it.

Two recent app updates have made this app so frustrating to use, constant error messages appearing every time you open the app, recorded videos not appearing unless the page is refreshed at least 3 times. The user experience is now so degraded it feels pointless using it. If you are going to release an update, at least bother to test it first.

All the equipment - which includes video doorbell, outdoor camera 3 and sync module 2 seem to work fine. They all show full connectivity/signal yet nothing works consistently. I’ve been trying to make it work for a whole week since getting the gear. My only thinking is that it is just in fact the app letting it all down. The app is so faulty, even down to changing settings and saving, it would almost always say failed to save yet it had actually saved. Which is obviously the least of issues but just gives you an insight into how rubbish the app is. The biggest problem is, I can only see live view Maybe only 2% out of the constant trying to view live view. Secondly, though it has been recording some clips this is so inconsistent and the delay it takes for these clips to even show on the local storage is ridiculous. The app won’t even load a thumbnail picture of the camera review. it’s only managed to load it once in five days I’ve had the system. I am returning the system and going with “Eufy” because of at a guess the let down of this app.

Used to be good but now there are constant, annoying messages at the top saying “tap on play button to access live… 1 of 4”. Super annoying that this message constantly obstructs the view of using the app. I’ve had the app for years and I don’t need this annoying message. Even if I close it, it still pops up later.

So many things wrong with the way the system works it’s a crime to call it a security system. It’s too bad I invested in 5 cameras and a sync module before I figured this out.

We purchased the Blink outdoor4. When we scanned the QR code to set it up, it told us the camera was registered under another account. Called Blink support and they would not assist. Told us we need to return the camera to the store we purchased it from. They issued the same QR code for two different devices and despite the fact that we have a receipt for proof of purchase, they would not issue a new code. Will be returning to using Wyze as we have never had any issues.

There’s a horrible WiFi bug where the sync module will not connect to WiFi in the app and says the password is incorrect. How to fix it, unplug the sync module and press reset for 10 seconds, keep holding the reset button and plug it back in for another 5 seconds before releasing the reset button. Try reconnecting the the sync to WiFi in the Blink app. No one from support will admit to this bug. They want you to buy another module and the app won’t tell anything useful other than your password is incorrect, when it isn’t.

What have you done ? Since the last up date the app only works 50% of the time. Sometimes when I open the app it doesn’t load, I can’t access the recorded videos. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it and I’m still getting the same problems
